This Privacy Policy explains how Group Trip Planner ("we," "us," or "the Service") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit grouptrip.to and use the app to plan trips with your group. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you log in, our authentication provider (Privy) processes an identifier such as your email address or connected wallet address so we can recognize you across sessions. We do not store your password.
• Trip content. Information you and your group create in the app — trip names, proposals, votes, itinerary decisions, and membership in a trip — is stored so the Service can function and stay in sync for everyone in your group.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our infrastructure may automatically receive standard log data such as browser type, device information, and approximate region for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We and our partners use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and — on our public pages — serve advertising (see "Advertising and cookies" below).

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the trip-planning Service.
• To keep proposals, votes, and itineraries in sync for your group in real time.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To improve the Service, fix bugs, and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To display advertising on our public marketing pages, where applicable.

3. Advertising and cookies

Our public pages (such as this site's landing, about, and information pages) may display ads served by Google AdSense. The Group Trip Planner application itself — the trip, proposal, vote, and itinerary screens you use after signing in — does not display third-party ads.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Service:

• Privy — authentication (email / wallet login).
• Poof / Tarobase — backend, data storage, and hosting infrastructure.
• Google AdSense — advertising on public pages.
• Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS, and security for grouptrip.to.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. The Service is built on the Poofy platform; Poofy's terms and privacy notice are available at poofy.ai/toc and poofy.ai/privacy.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Trip content you create is visible to the members of that trip. We share data with the service providers listed above only as needed to operate the Service, and we may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

6. Data retention

We retain account and trip data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see "Contact" below).

7. Your choices and rights

• You can manage advertising preferences using the opt-out links in section 3.
• You can control cookies through your browser settings.
• Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
